HOW TO PLAY
AIM & SHOOT
Drag anywhere on the table to swing the cue — the farther your finger or mouse is from the cue ball, the finer the aim.
Charge your shot with the power meter on the right (drag it down, release to fire) or pull straight back on the cue stick itself.
On desktop you can also fine-aim with ◂ ▸ arrow keys (hold SHIFT for hair-fine), power with ▴ ▾, and shoot with SPACE.
SPIN
Tap the cue ball chip (bottom-left) and place the contact point: high = follow, low = draw, left/right = english off the cushions.
8-BALL RULES
The table is open after the break — the first legally potted ball assigns your group (solids or stripes).
Pot your seven, then the 8-ball, to win. Fouls (scratching, striking the wrong group first, or no ball reaching a rail
after contact) give your opponent ball-in-hand anywhere. Potting the 8-ball early — or scratching as it drops — loses the game.
THE BREAK
Place the cue ball behind the head string. A legal break drives 4+ balls to rails or pots one; a soft break is a foul and
hands over ball-in-hand in the kitchen. Pot the 8 on the break and it is re-spotted — you carry on shooting.
