Seven days, seven shots. Each morning you walk out of a cave, find the ledge, set the rifle on the valley below and take one man out of a compound eight hundred metres away — the right one, picked out of a crowd by his coat and his hat. Read the wind, hold your breath, lead him as he walks, and remember the round takes the better part of a second to arrive. Buy better glass between days. On some of them they work out where the shot came from and climb up the trail after you, and then it is just you and a sidearm. Ranked at the end of the week.
